About
Certech research partner in chemistry
Certech’s mission is to provide innovative solutions for the improvement or development of products and processes, in agreement with the principles of sustainable chemistry and circular economy to meet industrial and societal needs.
Our multidisciplinary team is composed of 35 highly qualified and experienced employees.
Certech’ research & development strategy is based on the synergies of three major themes: environment, polymer materials technology, and chemistry & industrial processes, supported by a platform of analytical and technological services:
- Environment: Certech has over 40 years of expertise in comprehensive gas emissions management, process optimization, and product improvement with a focus on environmental impact and sustainable development. Our expertise covers health & safety and air quality (characterization and treatment of gaseous effluents, risk and environmental impact assessment), energy (advanced materials, sustainable technologies, renewable resources), and recycling (waste management and material and/or energy recovery).
- Polymer Materials Technology: With environmental concerns being a key industrial priority, Certech has developed specific expertise in low-environmental-impact materials and processes, ranging from bio-based materials to mechanical and chemical recycling of plastics and composites. This includes for instance lightweight material development and control of materials odors and emissions. Certech also develops formulations based on precise specifications or existing product requirements.
- Intensified / Continuous Processes: Leveraging its core expertise in chemistry, process intensification, and flow chemistry, Certech develops the factory of the future and smart chemistry platforms tailored to major sectors of industrial chemistry. Certech also has capabilities and pilot facilities for chemical recycling of waste.
