Brightlands Circular Space
About
Brightlands Circular Space (BCS) is a collaboration between Brightlands Chemelot Campus, Maastricht University, and TNO, based in the Netherlands. BCS promotes the circular reuse of plastics by converting them into new raw materials on an industrial scale. It is developing an open R&D center for circular solutions in areas such as packaging, automotive, textiles, and electronics. The facility combines advanced equipment, material characterization, and scaling-up capabilities in a single location.
BCS connects stakeholders across the entire plastics value chain and accelerates innovation through collaboration and technology. By bridging the entire plastics value chain, BCS fosters collaboration, accelerates technological breakthroughs, and speeds up time-to-market.
