ALPHA - Route des Lasers & des Hyperfréquences (ALPHA-RLH) supports companies and laboratories in setting up, appraising and financing collaborative innovation projects (regional, national and European). Based at four sites in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region (Bordeaux, Limoges, La Rochelle and Pau), the cluster federates players in the Photonics & Microwave deep-tech sectors. It supports the growth and internationalization of innovative companies and participates in regional economic development.
It draws on three areas of expertise: Photonics-Laser (laser sources and processes, optical components, instrumentation), Electronics-Hyperfrequencies (integrated electronics, radio communication systems, radar systems) and Materials, Photonics, Electronics (nanomaterials, ceramics, composites, polymers), with support from the Digital, Industry of the Future & Cultural and Creative Industries cross-functional area.
ALPHA-RLH fosters collaborative innovation serving four application markets:
-Aeronautics-Space-Defense: embedded optical/optronic systems, innovative solutions for materials shaping, communication, navigation, lighting;
-Communication-Security: components or systems for data transmission, securing data and networks;
-Energy-Smart Building: solar technologies, lighting solutions, energy efficiency, energy storage, communicating or connected devices for buildings;
-Health (Medical Devices and Autonomy): imaging, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, technological solutions for people losing their autonomy.
