The inIT conducts application-oriented basic research together with partners from science and industry. The focus of the research approach is the connection of the two fields of knowledge computer science and automation. Intelligent technical systems form the overriding research focus at the institute. Networking, IT security, communication, human-technology interaction, image processing, computer intelligence and machine learning, data infrastructures (medical databases) and authentication complete the broad research area at inIT. Precise information acquisition, efficient networking and effective processing are among the core competencies. In joint projects with universities, research institutions and corporate partners, the scientists are researching the intelligent automation of tomorrow.
