University of Economics - Varna (UE-Varna) is a modern, stable, proactive and innovative university, a symbol of science, prosperity and spirituality, which in 2020 celebrated its 100th anniversary. More than 120,000 students, Bulgarian and international, coming from over 60 countries, are trained in a range of 22 majors and 31 master’s degree majors in four professional areas: Economics, Administration and Management, Tourism, IT and Computer Sciences. The mission of UE - Varna is to be a leading educational and scientific institution with an established identity in the educational space, which places young people, education and culture at the centre of their social and economic responsibility. Within the four faculties in the structure of UE-Varna - Financial and Accounting, Economics, Management and Informatics, work around 200 lecturers, professors, associate professors, senior assistants and assistants who are respected and recognised by the scientific community. For our new mandate (4 years), our scientific activity will be focused on the following thematic fields: Industry 5.0 and the application of AI; Green transformation and blue economy; New technologies in creative and recreative industries. We have experience in project management and administrative and scientific capacity to work on EU-funded projects.
