Greenbizz - Green building opportunity

With Greenbizz II, we aim to meet future needs by developing a model project in terms of circularity — from its design and the materials used to the types of activities it will host. Our ambition is to create a low-emission building that integrates urban agriculture and vertical industry.

Workshops will be finalized in 2029.

The Greenbizz II project also aligns with the Economic Transition Strategy and the Industrial Plan. It addresses several key objectives outlined in the latter:

• Reversing the decline in productive employment in Brussels as of 2020;

• Reconnecting Brussels and its residents with productive activities that reflect the region’s challenges;

• Shifting from an experimental phase to the deployment and growth of productive activities rooted in the circular economy.
