Industry 5.0 in smart cities by responsible research and innovation

DUTIREG provides services as regional Digital Innovation Hub and supports industrial clusters to implement digital transformation within the framework of transnational cooperation in the project „Ecosystem Partnership for Interclusters and smart city eXchanges”. (https://www.epix-dih.eu/services) The creation of Digital Innovation Hub in Szeged (in Hungary) was one of the pilot actions of the transnational project of „Territorial Responsible Research and Innovation and Smart Specialisation” where Timisoara (in Romania) was also among the partners. The Regional Innovation Agency Association in Szeged therefore works together with partners in Timisoara to create cross-border ecosystem that responsible innovation in human centred smart cities. The European policy background is provided by HUBS 5.0 working group within the Industry 5.0 Community of Practice which aim to increase innovation capacity for Industry 5.0, building on Horizon Europe projects by creating an innovation assessment framework. Consequently, the Regional Innovation Agency Association and their partners from the Szeged-Timisoara cross-border region seek partnership with Consortium that intend to submit proposal to the call for „System innovation experimentation for Industry 5.0” because we want to test our knowledge and skills in European collaborative engagement. We would be especially happy to join partnership with experience for responsible innovation in cooperation across national borders within the European Union.
