About
CITEVE, the Portuguese Technological Centre for the Textile and Clothing Industry, is actively seeking partners for joint innovation under Horizon Europe – Cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility.
As a national and European reference in research, innovation, and technology transfer, we specialize in:
🔹 Sustainable processes and circular economy strategies
🔹 Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and carbon footprint analysis
🔹 Functional and smart textiles
🔹 Ultra-light textile composites (natural, synthetic, recycled)
🔹 Advanced manufacturing (3D printing, Tailored Fibre Placement)
🔹 Application-focused R&D for mobility, clean energy, and carbon neutrality
We work across the full textile value chain – from fibers and coatings to advanced 2D/3D structures – and deliver market-driven, high-impact solutions for sectors such as transport, energy, construction, space, and defense.
💡 If you're building a Horizon Europe consortium or exploring new R&I partnerships, CITEVE is your go-to partner for advanced textile-based solutions that drive sustainability, digitalization, and performance.
📩 Let’s connect and explore how we can co-create value in your next project!
