About

The group's focus is to drive interdisciplinary applied research by fostering industry collaborations and to educate and train the next generation of researchers and engineers in the fields of mechanics, mechatronics, and materials technology.

The group comprises experts in materials modelling and testing, computational and experimental fluid dynamics, structural mechanics, green energy (wind turbines and solar panels), impact simulation, acoustic analyses, mechatronics, and multiphysics.

By uniting our core technical areas of fluid mechanics, solid mechanics, and mechatronics the group will perform innovative research in Green Energy Technology. We will focus on developing sustainable, efficient, and advanced solutions for energy generation, storage, and management.
