Smart Fluid is the innovation developed by the largest privately owned chemical group in Poland ​ Smart Fluid develops different types of materials based on shear thickening fluid (non-Newtonian; ’flexible ceramics’) – not aiming to be the producer of final goods ​ Ready to implement and test in variable applications (vests and plates at TRL 8, ​ 15+ cases at TRL 4-7)​ Small production line organized and ready to deliver samples (MRL 7➡8) ​ ​Fully-operational small scale production line based on tolling agreement with other Qemetica’s Business Unit ​ The project until Q2 2024 focused mainly on vest & plates application, however the material has much wider potential​ Currently, the focus is on commercialization and qualification across various applications, within defense and civilian sectors​
