About
Innovative mining pilot in new processing techniques for high-interest raw materials recovery: access to industrial plants with flexible scale that enables relocation and high recovery rates at low cost.
Industry 4.0 applied to mining sector: incorporation of advanced manufacturing solutions by SMEs between regions traditionally dedicated to mining operations.
Societal communication: Dissemination and communication regarding activities and results from projects and major research lines.
Landfield pilot for technology demonstration and mining restoration: New processing and recovery technologies that will allow the resettlement of mines environment, and their existing tailings as well as raw materials.
Water & soil purification in complex industrial environments: Looking for technologies and partners to apply into mining restoration, biofuels and or heavy industry cases
In particular, I'm interested in exchanging possible ideas for collaboration in line with our project Li4Life which will develop an efficient technology for the extraction of lithium from complex or low grade ores from underutilised deposits and mine waste (tailings), with the aim of supporting the development of clean and sustainable energy products.
The Li4Life project works on under-utilised deposits containing poor and complex Li resource ores (petalite, lepidolite and zinnwaldite, swinefordite) and will also work on the valorisation of Li-containing tailings (mining waste).
Aligned with the fundamental themes, the Li4LIFE project aims to :
1. Contribute to the ambitious objective of increasing the EU's domestic supply of local raw materials by at least 5% by 2030.
2. Develop innovative and sustainable technologies for the extraction of lithium from minerals such as petalite, lepidolite and zinnwaldite.
3. Support the objectives of the EU Critical Raw Materials Act by ensuring access to a secure and sustainable supply of lithium.
4. Provide a basis for the development of future clean energy products.
5. Minimise waste generation and reduce the overall environmental impact by redefining the massive use of the remaining waste.
