Interest in "Horizon-CL3-2024-FCT-01-05: Combating hate speech online and offline" call

My research activities focus on modeling user interactions, leveraging online data across multiple platforms to understand conscious and unconscious behaviors. I also closely worked on various projects related with detection of manipulation on social media. My research area strongly matches with the DE-ESCALHATE project. This project mainly aims to develop innovative AI-based methods such as EU-GDPR compliant social media tracking, social network analysis (SNA) and counter-narrative generation as well as interactive educational toolkits for combating online and offline hate speech, while preserving user privacy and promoting social cohesion in European societies. In the subject project, I can contribute by designing, conducting, and validating advanced social network analyses in line with my expertise, as outlined in the objectives and outcomes.
