We were the coordinator of HazardAware in previous proposals. the objective of HAZARDAWARE project is to develop a digital twin implementation to provide “early warning” against natural disasters such as floods, storms, droughts and wildfires for an effective preparedness, mitigation, response, and recovery as well “situational awareness” for authorities, operational search and rescue (SAR) teams, public organisations, and citizens to provide seamless communication, coordination, and information sharing, initial damage and need assessment, protection of vulnerable groups, perseverance of essential infrastructure services.
