Norwaves Systems AS is a Norwegian SME specialising in enterprise and mission-critical Private 5G. We design, integrate and deploy end-to-end Private 5G networks (RAN, 5G core, edge and applications) for industrial and critical sectors such as manufacturing, ports, rail, energy, aquaculture, healthcare and public safety. We are vendor-neutral and work with several radio and core suppliers.

We cover the full lifecycle as one accountable partner: assess (site survey, spectrum analysis), design (network architecture, vendor selection, spectrum planning), deploy (installation, commissioning), integrate (OT/IT systems, devices, applications, edge AI), operate (managed service, 24/7 NOC, SLA-backed support) and optimise. Our references include the University of Oslo and Vignan University in India, where we showcased an operational private 5G platform at India Mobile Congress 2026. We are members of one6G, the Bharat 6G Alliance and GTI, and our team brings 25+ years of telecom experience.

In Horizon Europe Cluster 4 and Cluster 5 consortia, Norwaves can act as the Private 5G integration partner: designing, deploying and operating the Private 5G and edge infrastructure that factory, port and rail pilots and demonstrators run on, and integrating partners' robots, sensors, applications and AI with industrial OT/IT systems. We are looking to join as an industry/SME partner, working alongside research institutes and end users towards 5G-Advanced and 6G-ready industrial connectivity.
