KARPATSKÁ PERLA is a family winery founded in 1991 with a multi-generational viticultural tradition. It is currently located in Šenkvice, which is 25 km north east of the Slovak Republic capital Bratislava.

The winery manages 60 hectares of vineyards, which are cultivated organically and are located in the The Small Carpathian wine region. This viticultural area is named after The Small Carpathian mountain range, which is dominantly composed of granite bedrock and has a south-eastern exposure.

All vineyards are located within 6 kilometers of the winery, in 4 different locations - Suchý vrch, The Small Carpathian slopes in the villages of Vinosady and Modra, Noviny vineyard and Nad Polankou vineyard.

The varietal composition is based on the tradition and history of Central and Western Europe. The winery focuses mostly on Grüner Veltliner, Blaufränkisch, Rhein Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Dunaj and the floral aromatic varieties Moravian Muscat and Devín.

KARPATSKÁ PERLA produces wines in two lines. The first line represents a collection of fresh fruity wines with a screw cap in a Burgundy bottle. The second line is wines from specific vineyards, which have a richer and fuller taste and higher aging potential. They are filled into Bordeaux bottles closed with a cork stopper. As part of the second line of wines, we also offer sparkling wines and naturally sweet wines.

We regularly participate in various international competitions and manage to win top awards, where we have achieved success mainly with white and sweet wines. This is also because wines from The Small Carpathian are characterized by freshness and harmonious fruitiness.

Since 2023 we have been producing bio / organic wines, which are also low-histamine and vegan.
