My name is Sophio Kurdadze, and I am the Commercial Director at Metreveli Wine Cellar, located in Kakheti, Republic of Georgia. The story of Metreveli Wine Cellar began in 2014. Our company thoroughly follows the ancient traditions of Georgian winemaking and carefully combines them with modern technologies. We produce wines both in the European way and using the traditional Georgian method of Qvevri (Amphora) winemaking, which is the oldest known indigenous method in Georgia—and indeed the world.
