O-Force – Catalytide Therapeutics Platform

Profile
We are developing a first-in-class therapeutic approach for Parkinson’s disease (PD) based on Catalytides, catalytic peptides, capable of degrading pathogenic protein aggregates.

Our lead program focuses on α-synuclein-targeting Catalytides, where we have already demonstrated in vivo efficacy, including disease-relevant functional improvements and reduction of pathological burden in PD models.

Highlights of α-Syn Catalytide

• Identified effective sequences of Catalytide for α-Syn

• Confirmed the efficacy in a mouse model of PD

• Evaluated CNS drug delivery via nasal administration in mice and monkey

• Confirmed reduced p-α-Syn positive aggregates in PD brain specimens treated with Catalytides (in vitro)

• No adverse effects observed following two-week nasal administration in mice

In parallel, we are expanding our platform toward other neurodegenerative targets (Amyloid-beta, tau, TDP-43, SOD1).

Our Catalytide platform combines:

• Identification of aggregation-prone core regions

• Rational peptide design with catalytic activity

• Pharmacological validation in disease models

We are actively seeking:

• Collaborative research partners (PD models, biomarker evaluation, DDS)

• Licensing-out opportunities (α-synuclein Catalytide assets)

• Co-development toward clinical translation

We particularly welcome partnerships with companies and groups working on Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases such as AD etc., protein aggregation therapeutics.
