A varied career has seen Allen spend time in senior positions on both sides of the client / agency fence in a range of sectors including: Automotive, Financial Services, Retail, Publishing, and leisure.

A founding partner in Citizen Communications a healthcare communications agency, focussed on applying the knowledge and experience of positively influencing consumer behaviour for major national and international brands, to address the health care needs and operational priorities of the NHS.

Working in collaboration with The UK’s National Health Service (NHS), Allen leads the Citizen Communications team in pioneering the use of data driven personalised healthcare video as an effective, engaging and cost-saving tool for healthcare programme and service optimisation, addressing many of the issues and priorities Healthcare systems face today including:

·       Patient engagement and activation

·       Health inequality

·       Workforce capacity limitations

·       Financial constraints
