Spin-off Pitches - Quickfire Round
Discover promising spin-off projects from across Helmholtz Health and beyond, developing innovative solutions in therapeutics, vaccines, regenerative medicine, biotechnology and digital research tools.
Each team will have 3 minutes to pitch, the jury and audience select the Top 3 finalists, who will compete in the afternoon finals at 17:00.
Meet the pitching teams
-
EBViously – Developing a next-generation virus-like particle vaccine against Epstein-Barr virus-associated diseases.
-
Arvalus Therapeutics – Preventing life-threatening infections by targeting the microbiota with a live biotherapeutic product (LBP) against multidrug-resistant Enterobacteriaceae.
-
MiPath - Enabling precision nutrition through functional microbiome profiling.
-
INTERDEL – Developing inhaled formulations designed to improve how medicines distribute through the lung after deposition.
-
Airiva – Developing a first-in-class, epigenetically acting, disease-modifying drug for inflammatory respiratory diseases.
-
Glitch Therapeutics – Developing programmable RNA-editing therapies that generate immunogenic neoepitopes directly in cancer cells, turning tumors into targets for precise T-cell recognition.
-
Citrapeutics – Restoring anti-tumor immunity across multiple solid tumor indications.
-
Allothera – Treating neuropathic pain at its source.
-
Volumetric Engineering – Taking (not just) microscopy out of flatland – developing a platform for Extended Reality/Spatial Computing-based lab hardware control and visualisation.
-
NEURO-STEM – Turning blood into brain repair: scalable, off-the-shelf directly reprogrammed neural stem cells for neurological diseases.
-
NovInCell – Protecting the brain from stroke effects by making its vascularisation more stable.
