Data Science Trainee | AI-powered Rehabilitation

Braining® is redefining what recovery looks like. We're a purpose-driven startup based in Portugal using AI, VR, and neuroscience to make stroke rehabilitation engaging, adaptive, and data-driven. As a Data Science Trainee, you’ll work with real-world therapy datasets and help craft the brain behind our recovery systems.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build pipelines to clean and process motion, biometric, and therapy data

• Analyze patient recovery trends to improve therapy personalization

• Create visualizations that allow therapists to track and adapt rehab in real time

• Collaborate with our ML and VR teams to close the loop between data and patient action

• Contribute to potential publications in healthtech and neurorehabilitation

What We're Looking For

• Proficient in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, etc.)

• Understanding of data visualization and communication

• Interest in healthcare, biomechanics, or behavioral data
