Label-free and non-invasive cell analysis

About

We are developing a new-generation label-free flow cytometer, similar to conventional flow cytometry but based on electrical impedance cytometry. Instead of using biomarkers and lasers, our approach involves applying low AC voltage signals simultaneously at different frequencies.

Each compartment in a cell has a specific electric signature, and we recognize those. Our proprietary microfluidic device technology allows us to operate at very high frequencies, so that we can measure any change in the biophysical properties for the whole cell.

Users conduct effortless label-free measurements, generating rich data with diverse applications, from size measurements to cell cycle monitoring. The collected data are easily accessible, allowing users to revisit those at any time for exploring different cell properties.
