Bridging Patient Insights and Healthcare Strategy — Policy & Industry Opportunities

Stella Maria Marceta

PhD researcher at Erasmus School of Health Policy and Management

Rotterdam, Netherlands

About

I connect methodological expertise in patient preference research with strong communication and networking skills, turning complex evidence into practical, stakeholder-centered insights for healthcare and policy.

I am completing my PhD in Public Health (expected 2026), focused on patient preference studies and discrete choice experiments that turn patient insights into actionable decisions for healthcare, industry, and policy. My research is part of an interdisciplinary project bridging public health and behavioral sciences, equipping me to generate evidence that informs strategy, market access, and product development.

Beyond technical expertise, I thrive in interdisciplinary and intercultural teams, bridging perspectives across research, policy, and practice. Having lived in Germany, the Netherlands, and Canada, I am professionally fluent in German and English, with working proficiency in Dutch – enabling effective collaboration across the Euregion.

I bring strong communication, networking, and project leadership skills, and thrive on creatively solving complex problems to deliver practical, stakeholder-centered results.

From 2026, I will be based in the Limburg / Euregion area and am seeking roles in consulting, industry, or health authorities / policy agencies where I can contribute to evidence-informed decision making, strategy, and innovation. I look forward to connecting with potential employers at Growth Across BordersEuregional LSH and MedTech ecosystem.
