GL Metalworks Ltd

GL Metal Works is a European SME with ~€1M annual turnover, processing 300–500 tons of steel annually. We specialize in steel cutting, fabrication, and handling using emery cutting and magnetic lifting systems, currently transitioning towards more advanced manufacturing technologies. Our focus is on improving energy efficiency and reducing operational costs through process innovation and equipment upgrades (e.g. fiber laser cutting, automation, and digital monitoring). We are particularly interested in integrating net-zero technologies into our production workflows, including energy-efficient machinery, smart energy management, and process optimization. We are seeking collaboration with technology providers and research-driven SMEs to pilot solutions (TRL 6–8) that can deliver measurable improvements in energy use, productivity, and carbon footprint, in line with EU green transition priorities.
