NovaMechanics (NovaM) is a Cyprus-based SME with over 15 years of experience in research and innovation projects, specializing in advanced modeling, simulation, and informatics solutions for climate, energy, materials, and sustainability applications. NovaM develops scientific software tools and decision-support frameworks in the fields of chem-, bio-, and nanoinformatics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, materials modeling, and systems-level analysis. In the context of climate sciences and Earth system understanding, NovaM contributes predictive and prescriptive analytics, uncertainty-aware modeling, and data-driven frameworks supporting climate monitoring, climate risk assessment, and evidence-based climate policy. Its expertise in big data analytics, model validation, and explainable AI directly supports next-generation climate and environmental assessment capabilities. For cross-sectoral solutions enabling the climate transition, NovaM provides digital tools for sustainable materials design, circular economy modeling, life-cycle-based decision support, and optimization of recycling and resource-efficient processes. This includes in silico assessment of advanced materials, battery-grade components, and bio-based or low-impact alternatives, reducing experimental cost, risk, and development time. In the area of sustainable, secure, and competitive energy supply, NovaM develops modeling and simulation frameworks for renewable energy technologies, energy materials, and value chains. These include materials-level performance prediction, system optimization, durability and lifetime assessment, and integration of sustainability and circularity criteria into technology design and scale-up processes. NovaM has participated in more than 40 EU and National funded multidisciplinary projects and has coordinated two Horizon 2020 projects: NanoSolveIT (€6M, 24 partners) and CompSafeNano (€1.7M).
