Orbital Critical Systems was founded in 2008. From its origins it was a reference in critical systems engineering, as well as in the complete cycle of design, development, verification and validation of hardware, software and systems integration. In November 2021, this company was acquired 100% by Grupo CAF.
Orbital has a long track record and experience working around critical SW and HW systems, from design to the actual certification of the systems.
Extensive experience in the development of critical software and hardware systems, from design to certification. Projects developed for different clients, especially Airbus DS, where Orbital acts as a TIER-1 supplier. Among them: Exomars, Seosat, A400M, MRTT, Eurofighter and SIRTAP. Orbital provides training and support in the certification of critical systems (DO-254, DO-178, DO-160, ECSS, CENELEC, ISO26262, etc.) to companies that need to introduce their systems into critical systems.
