• Defining and refining technical requirements;

• Testing and qualifying innovative materials and systems;

• Ensuring conformity with industrial regulations and standards;

• Evaluating the reliability and long-term performance of developed solutions.

We also contribute significantly to the drafting and preparation of deliverables, particularly in work packages related to regulatory requirements, technical specifications, and the industrial integration of innovative solutions.

What we offer:
Mersen is a global expert in electrical power management and conversion, providing advanced components and integrated solutions for energy storage, mobility, and renewable applications. Our portfolio includes high-speed AC/DC fuses, laminated and flexible busbars, film and electrolytic capacitors, air/liquid cooling systems, and engineered sub-assemblies for battery packs and converters. We also develop innovative safety solutions for batteries—such as smart breakers, cell-level fuse integration, and fire-resistant materials—and optimize busbar design to reduce cost, weight, and environmental impact.

What we are looking for:
We seek partnerships within Horizon Europe consortia, including coordinators and industrial or academic partners, to collaborate on projects addressing battery safety, power distribution, and energy conversion challenges. We are interested in pilots and use cases in electric mobility (EV/HEV), marine, aeronautics, renewable energy, and HVDC infrastructures.
