INEGI

INEGI is an industry-oriented Research and Technology Organization (RTO) with an organizational structure based on three pillars of activity: research with applied focus, innovation and technology transfer and consulting and advanced engineering and training services. The research activity covers the areas of new technologies for advanced production processes, experimental mechanics, applied mechanics, energy, new materials, development of new products and systems and biomechanics. 

INEGI´s experience in the project management of RTD projects and services, particularly involving industrial partners, is also to be highlighted as well as the industry-targeted advanced training programs on selected manufacturing topics. In the KETs main fields, ongoing European-level projects are framed in Horizon Europe, EDF, ESA, Clean Aviation, Chips JU, Life and Interreg programs. INEGI has active presence in the main European and National technology platforms and initiatives related with materials, manufacturing technologies and transports, specifically in EARTO, A.SPIRE, EFFRA, IAM-I, ESTEP, Clean Aviation, Hydrogen Europe Research, ECTP, EARPA (automotive sector), EASTRO (space sector) and Vanguard Initiative (smart specialisation). INEGI has an active role in these initiatives and has contributed to the definition of R&D&I priorities at European or national level.
