Meeting to develop a new solid-state battery to the next level

TOROW is a French company committed to developing sovereign and sustainable energy storage technology. We've just reached a new milestone in the development of our all-solid sodium battery that position TOROW as a key R&D player.

TOROW is proud of its latest scientific and technological advances, marked by the official filing of a second patent (FR2511979).This new patent is based on a novel process for the in-situ assembly and formation of a solid electrolyte directly within the cathode material.

This revolutionary approach allows for perfect percolation at the electrolyte-cathode interface, eliminating the obstacles often encountered in all-solid-state batteries: high internal resistance, interface instabilities, and loss of conductivity.

This innovation paves the way for very high currents, ultra-fast charging (>5C), improved longevity and greater performance stability over time.

This is a decisive step towards a forthcoming patent relating to the complete packaged assembly of the all-solid-state cell.
