Data-Efficient Optimization and Simulation for Decision Support in Logistics

Post doctoral researcher at Vrije Universiteit Brussel

Brussel, Belgium

About

I am interested in joining collaborative research projects as a partner, contributing expertise in data-efficient optimization, simulation, and modeling for decision support in logistics and related domains.

My own research focuses on logistics and supply chain systems, synchromodality (ST), and Physical Internet (PI) concepts, with strong emphasis on simulation-based modeling, optimization under uncertainty, and data-efficient decision-making approaches.

I am part of the Mobilise research group, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, which has extensive experience in logistics, mobility, transport systems, and policy-relevant decision support. The group has a strong track record in applied modeling, simulation, and collaboration with public and industrial stakeholders.

I am open to contributing as a research or technical partner within an existing or forming consortium, particularly in projects where advanced modeling and optimization methods support real-world decision-making.
