About
iPowerLab, the Smart Energy Laboratory of ITG, is conceived as a comprehensive infrastructure for testing, validating, and optimizing advanced energy solutions at the building scale. The laboratory integrates a wide range of real energy assets with powerful emulation and simulation capabilities, enabling research, development, and demonstration activities under highly controlled and reproducible conditions.
In addition to these physical assets, iPowerLab incorporates advanced emulation and simulation tools that significantly expand its experimental capabilities.
Thanks to this combination of real energy installations and advanced emulation tools, iPowerLab provides a unique environment to develop, test, and validate smart energy management strategies, optimize the operation of hybrid energy systems, and explore interoperability between generation**, storage, mobility, and thermal technologies in buildings and microgrids.**
