Sustainability and Life Cycle Assessment

We offer expertise in sustainability assessment and circular design of chemical and materials systems for Horizon Europe CL5 projects. We specialise in life cycle assessment (ISO 14040/44), techno-economic analysis, circularity metrics, and sustainability-by-design approaches for emerging materials, coatings, and bio-based technologies. In collaborative projects, we contribute to benchmarking innovative solutions against conventional references, identifying environmental and economic trade-offs, and supporting scale-up decisions with quantitative evidence. Our role typically includes integrating sustainability assessment across the project lifecycle, from early material development to pilot and demonstration stages, and translating results into decision-support tools, policy-relevant insights, and industry-ready recommendations. We actively collaborate with academic and industrial partners to ensure that project outcomes are scientifically robust, scalable, and aligned with European climate, circular economy, and competitiveness objectives.
