About
With transportation modelling and energy economics, we analyse how EV fleets and charging infrastructure affect distribution substations under different technology and demand scenarios. We can quantify system-level benefits and costs of digital, flexible substations that improve resilience and enable higher shares of electrified transport. Through software development, we deliver simulation and optimisation tools to test operating strategies and investment options. Our dissemination activities focus on translating complex technical results into practical guidance for DSOs, regulators and transport stakeholders.
