Contributions by MOTOR Ai:

  • Event-based cameras for active- perception & enhanced decision making:

  • MOTOR Ai will contribute its advanced multimodal sensor stack (cameras, radars, LiDARs, GNSS+RTK, and IMU). This setup will enable real-world data acquisition.

  • Integration of event-based-cameras will enable more robust, GenAI-based perception algorithms. Results: Optimize decision making and maneuver planning, making by making driving more safe and human-like.

  • Additional contributions: MOTOR Ai’s vehicle platform’s on-road testing capability in expanded ODDs ensures coverage across varied traffic and environmental conditions.

  • Concrete use cases/ results: Improved safety for vulnerable road users or performance of an MRM.

Contributions sought by Consortia Partners:

  • Virtual testing for validation and training: Develop digital twins and simulation frameworks that integrate GenAI-based data augmentation to generate critical scenarios (e.g. vulnerable road user interaction).

  • High-performance training and optimization: Virtual environments allow for scalable validation of CCAM systems under diverse and challenging conditions.

  • High-Performance Training of large-scale models using our HPC infrastructure (multi-H100 GPUs) and execution of simulation studies

  • Additional contribution: Explainable AI models for perception and decision making will help analyze behavior critical scenarios, identifying potential weaknesses and improving robustness.
