HORIZON-CL5-2026-03-D3-20 Hybrid AI-Control Framework for a next-generation gridscale energy storage and system integration - Collaboration Offer

As Doğuş Teknoloji, we propose to contribute to the “digital twin and hybrid artificial intelligence for proactive storage and flexibility management” component by developing an intelligent forecasting and decision-support system integrated within the digital twin architecture.

Our approach will leverage time-series data such as:

• Battery output power,

• Factory load and consumption patterns,

• Flexibility capacity of industrial facilities.

Using this data, we will implement advanced machine learning and hybrid AI models to predict short-term power behavior (e.g., demand, generation, and flexibility trends). These predictions will be translated into actionable operational recommendations that are meaningful from a business perspective.

The system will address key questions such as:

• “Will power demand increase or decrease in the near future?”

• “What is the optimal strategy for storage and flexibility assets?”

Based on these insights, it will generate recommendations like:

• “Prepare the battery for charging or discharging.”

• “Optimize consumption to reduce peak load costs.”

By doing so, this AI component will:

• Enhance adaptive management of storage and flexibility resources,

• Improve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness,

• Support proactive decision-making in dynamic industrial environments.

We aim to satisfy the below scope/outcome of the call:

      ·      Advanced digital twin and AI technologies (i.e. hybrid) to support proactive grid storage management and an effective integration with energy and ancillary services markets, for systems with high levels of renewable energy.
