NEWCO S.A., is a Greek technological SME aiming to drive innovation further utilizing Industry 4.0 technologies. The company provides products that address a wide spectrum of end-users while it offers consultation on best implementation practices on ICT, Emerging Technologies and their social impact. Our staff consists of an interdisciplinary and forward-thinking team of experts with diverse backgrounds and proven record of realizing worldwide business opportunities. Already carrying many man-years of experience in delivering the best results in EU funded projects (in the sectors of e-Government; Systems of Knowledge Management; e-learning Platforms; e-Health; Agri-Food, Cloud computing; Data Management; Service-Oriented Architectures; Cyber-security; Safety of ICT Systems; and Internet of Things), NEWCO is interested in creating mutually beneficial synergies with partners from Europe and worldwide. The company already participates in the implementation of two (2) Horizon Europe projects, developing secured and smart-enabled environments for data storing and transparent automated procedures, while offering consultancy in IT, DLT and Social resiliency. More specifically: • One health related project about prediction, monitoring and personalized recommendations for prevention and relief of dementia and frailty where we provide technical contribution regarding cybersecurity and data management for Human-Centric AI. (COMFORTAGE, HORIZON-HLTH-2023-STAYHLTH-01-01) • One AI-related project aiming to develop a unique European Centre of Excellence that excels the fundamental research in the scientific pillars of Adaptive, Green, Human-Centric, and Trustworthy AI where we provide technical consultation related to AI and ML computing. Further, some distinguished commercial solutions that NEWCO is offering are relevant to Industry 4.0 technologies. More specifically: • Tap2Sos solution, a reliable and low-cost wristband for documentation and retrieval of medical data using Blockchain technology. Effectively a medical ID, the Tap2SOS wristband allows immediate identification of the person wearing it and of any chronic health problems he/she may have, while Blockchain technology safeguards all his/her personal and sensitive data by providing unmatched transparency and integrity, always in full compliance with GDPR. • Blockchain Certificates, a secure and manageable blockchain-based platform that enables institutions to securely generate, authenticate and retrieve customized documents. Each certification is verified and issued using Blockchain technology and can be acknowledged as a genuine copy of the original transcript. • Smart Shielding, a smart seals service applied to the meters of energy supply companies and in the logistics industry with the aim of preventing access by third parties. • Waste Management Platform, a blockchain supported system that securely stores data resulting from waste flows, both from the individual routes of the collection vehicles and from the input-output data of the collection stations.
