Solar-Driven Steam Generator for Integrated Heat, Cooling and Electricity

About
A researcher at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid has developed a compact solar steam generator integrated with a linear solar collector for polygeneration systems. The device directly produces refrigerant steam from solar energy—without heat transfer fluids or thermal oil—and simultaneously separates steam from the solution, simplifying the system and increasing efficiency.
When combined with an absorption machine, it enables the generation of heat, cooling and electricity under a prosumer model. It can also operate connected to the grid, consuming electricity when solar input is insufficient. The system reduces size, costs and maintenance by eliminating conventional heat transport circuits, antifreeze fluids and complex installations.
Collaboration sought: Industrial partners or technology centers for investment, commercialization, licensing or R&D cooperation to scale the system for industrial and urban energy applications.
