ECI is an innovative company focused on the 100% circular recycling of polystyrene. Our unique cold collapse technology transforms polystyrene waste into high-quality secondary raw materials. The process is entirely energy-free, significantly reducing the environmental footprint. It also compresses the waste volume by up to 40 times and effectively eliminates odors, making handling and logistics easier and cleaner. These materials are then used to develop durable, recyclable polymer products such as molding wood, adhesives and varnishes. Our approach supports the transition toward a circular economy by offering sustainable alternatives to virgin plastics, addressing both environmental and industrial needs. Through collaboration with partners ECI contributes to the creation of low-impact materials that align with circular design principles and help reduce carbon emissions across the value chain.
