EuroCham Vietnam was founded in 1998. Our role is to advocate on behalf of the European Business Community in Vietnam, in order to make Vietnam a better place for European investments. We are the 4th largest European Chamber in the world, and one of the largest and most impactful foreign chambers in Vietnam. Vietnam put sustainability very high on its agenda during COP 26 in Glasgow. The government is now taking actions ! To support the country and to promote European know-how and expertise, EuroCham Vietnam launched GEFE - Green Economy Forum and Exhibition, a 3-days event happening every other year, and GEF - Green Economy Forum (no exhibition) happening the years in between GEFE years. We were honoured to welcome every year high representatives from the European Commission to inaugurate the event together with the Prime Minister of Vietnam: Executive Vice PResident Dombrovskis, Executive Vice-President Skinas, Commissioner to Environment Sinkevicius. The extremely successul event gathered more than 8,000 visitors in 2024. The edition GEF is happening on the 27 November 2025 in Hanoi.
