LAHEM DRISS

Materia Nova (https://www.materianova.be/en/)) is a R&D center based on advanced and disruptive technologies in the field of sustainable materials, multifunctional surfaces, and materials for energy, the environment and biotechnology. The Center employs around 80 highly qualified multidisciplinary researchers, most of whom hold doctorates, as well as engineers and technicians specializing in materials and process engineering (polymers, organics, inorganics, surface treatments, biomaterials and biotechnology). In addition to carrying out confidential contract R&D projects, Materia Nova deploys its skills to collaborate with EU universities and public bodies. This accelerates the emergence of cutting-edge technologies while targeting industrial applications. This mission is fulfilled by partnering with small, medium and large companies on research and/or development projects to facilitate technology transfer from academia to industry. This transfer enables companies to test research solutions in a real-life environment, from laboratory to pilot scale, before industrialization.
