Verdinum / Ecostellar

Verdinum is an innovative project dedicated to raising awareness and training in sustainable IT practices.
Its goal is to support local governments in the ecological transition of digital technology by developing knowledge and skills in areas such as eco-design, frugal AI, and equipment recycling. Verdinum is supported by the French State under the France 2030 program.

As part of Verdinum, we created Ecostellar, an immersive digital escape game designed to raise awareness of sustainable IT in a fun and collaborative way.
Players enter a fictional company facing energy overconsumption and must complete missions across 6 themed rooms to reduce environmental impact and regain access to the building.

Guided by an educational AI, participants make concrete decisions on eco-gestures, eco-design, and equipment management, with every choice impacting an energy gauge that visualizes their progress.

Fully digital, secure, and flexible, Ecostellar can be used for training sessions or team building, lasts about 1 hour, and concludes with a pedagogical toolkit provided to each participant.
