Gemeinwohlprojekte - Crowdfunding Platform

With our crowdfunding platform for projects serving the common good — gemeinwohlprojekte.at — we offer a marketplace for committed individuals and their ideas to find financial support. The projects come from a variety of sectors, including ecological agriculture and food, renewable energy, resource efficiency and mobility, health and social initiatives, education and cultural projects, housing and sustainable construction, as well as socially and ecologically driven enterprises.

The public benefit orientation of the projects is assessed through a three-tiered evaluation process involving experts, our member community, and the Common Good Advisory Board. For projects that fall under the EU Taxonomy Regulation (e.g. renewable energy, real estate, mobility, etc.), the technical screening criteria are also taken into account during the evaluation process. If the outcome is positive, the project is awarded the Common Good Seal. This review process ensures compliance with the technical screening criteria of the Taxonomy Regulation.
