• The Challenge: Compressed air is one of the most critical areas for industrial energy efficiency, accounting for 10% of the world’s industrial electricity consumption. Industries globally spend €150 billion annually on electricity to produce compressed air, resulting in over 500 million tons of CO₂ emissions each year. Current compressors are inefficient, converting less than 50% of input energy into compressed air.

• Our Solution: Enairon has developed the Gravity Compressor, an entirely new method for compressing air using water and gravity instead of metallic components. This innovation reduces energy consumption by 37%. Each unit can help customer save around €300k and 500 tons of CO₂ annually (EU data). • Market Potential: The €40 billion industrial air compressor market is steadily growing, with significant demand for efficiency and sustainability. Our product offers the lowest lifecycle cost on the market and requires less maintenance.

• Traction: Our technology is protected by five patent families, verified both in a lab environment at Chalmers University of Technology and in an industrial setting. We’ve installed a pilot machine at Stora Enso AB and are preparing the next for Höganäs AB and Södra Cell. We’ve also secured 17 Letters of Intent from potential customers.

• Stage: We are currently raising €4 million to launch our market-ready product in autumn 2026, prepared for series production and international expansion. We have investors committed for 80% of the round and are now focusing on building a strong and complementary investor network that can contribute not only with capital.
