GoWest

GoWest is one of the Nordic's premier venture capital forums for startups, scale-ups, and investors in pre-seed to series A stages. Capturing West Sweden's industrial legacy and emerging status as a leading deep-tech hub, GoWest brings together companies reshaping industries, global investors, and the Nordic innovation ecosystem in a multi-day matchmaking conference.

GoWest is part of a larger project that aims to strengthen the supply of capital within and to West Sweden by increasing the region's international visibility and attracting international investors, talent, and industry stakeholders. The project gathers forces to strengthen the supply of capital to start-up and scale-up companies in our region in collaboration with investors, industry, and ecosystem stakeholders.

Within the “KRAFT” project, one of the most visible activities is GoWest – Nordic Venture Capital Forum, the annual venture capital forum for investors, start-ups and scale-ups.

GoWest started in 2014 under the name ’Connect2Capital – West Nordic Venture Capital Forum by Connect Väst and was one of Sweden’s and the Nordic’s fastest growing events where investors and entrepreneurs went to meet IRL, network, be inspired and do business. In 2022 the conference was re-launched with a new name ‘GoWest – Nordic Venture Capital Forum’ by GU Ventures.
