Terhi Vapola

Result-oriented venture capitalist with focus on greentech, digitalization, internationalization, and business growth.  She is Managing Partner & Founder of Greencode Ventures, a digital green transition fund focusing on the most impactful early-phase European startups. Most recently, she founded Helen Ventures, the investment arm of a leading Nordic energy company Helen, where she led its creation from the initiation to a strong portfolio across Europe all the way to its first portfolio exit.  She has also co-founded multiple startups, acted as an angel investor, and contributed to the rapid global business growth of Nokia in multiple operative roles ranging from R&D, product management to sales and acquiring startups.  She received her D.Sc. degree from Aalto University.  She also holds degrees in Technology Management and Industrial Economics, and in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
