INTA is a research organisation registered in Spain, which in accordance with the provisions of article 47 of Law 14/2011, of 1 June, on Science, Technology and Innovation, and article 2.1 of Law 15/2014, of 16 September, on the rationalization of the Public Sector and other administrative reforming measures, is the Public Research Organization (OPI), as an autonomous body, attached to the Ministry of Defence, through the Secretary of State for Defence. INTA has experience as certification authority and public defense body oriented to testing, validating and qualifying defense products according to the Spanish National regulation. INTA has 4 thematic research areas (Aeronautics, Space, Land, Maritime)
