Asociación de la Industria Navarra (AIN)

AIN (Association of Navarre Industry) is a Technology Centre (CIT 35), of a totally private nature, founded in September 1963 by 16 Navarrese entrepreneurs 60 years ago. AIN is a private entity, a space for meeting and collaboration between companies, expert in knowledge and technology to promote competitiveness, innovation and sustainability.

AIN is organised in five Areas of activity aimed at providing companies with comprehensive assistance that contributes to improving their development and competitiveness. These Areas are: Surface Technologies, Industrial Development, Digital Technologies, Consulting, Training and Selection; the first three concentrate the R+D+i activities and make up the characteristics of AIN as a Technology Centre with different projects in the lines of Surface Treatment and Advanced Materials, Mechatronics, Intelligent Systems and Sustainability (Energy and Environment), highlighting its technological component which, in the case of the first three, corresponds to a very high component of its activity.

Since 2016 AIN has been recognised as an AEI at the national level, which is constituted as an Industrial Transformation Cluster, to promote innovative project actions with associated companies and the support of the Technology Centre. The aim of the Centre is to provide companies with a solid technological offer, of a horizontal, non-sectoral nature, adapted to the needs of each industrial sector. Among AIN's customers (over 720 in 2024), spread across much of the national territory, are some large companies, leaders in their sectors, although the vast majority are SMEs.
