Ana Kisovar
Clinical trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology/Visiting researcher
University of Oxford

I'm a clinician-scientist from Slovenia, DPhil in reproductive immunology at Oxford, now OB/GYN in Zurich. I work at the intersection of women's health biology and translation. Here to explore unmet needs and find the people building around them.
About me
I studied medicine in Slovenia and Germany. In 2024 I completed my DPhil in reproductive immunology and endometriosis at the University of Oxford, where I built a high-dimensional immune profiling platform to study the endometrial immune environment in depth, work that resulted in publications, grant funding, and a protocol adopted by the lab. I remain actively involved in that research programme.
I returned to Switzerland for clinical training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Spital Uster in Zurich, where I work alongside my ongoing research commitments. In parallel I advise an AI diagnostics company focused on endometriosis and am involved in a translational oncology spinout exploring localised therapeutic approaches for solid tumours.
My background spans clinical medicine, wet-lab immunology, translational research, and early-stage company building, across 6 healthcare systems and multiple disease areas in women's health. I come to this summit to understand where the field is moving and to find the people who are moving it.
