Maria Moukouli

I am the Director of Clinical Trials at Pharmassist, with over a decade of experience in clinical research, regulatory affairs, and project leadership. I began my career at Pharmassist in 2011 in the Regulatory Affairs Department and moved into the Clinical Trials Department in 2012 as a Clinical Research Associate (CRA), providing outsourced services to Roche. In 2015, I was promoted to Senior Clinical Research Associate / Project Manager, taking on expanded managerial responsibilities while supporting Novartis.

In 2017, I assumed the role of Clinical Project Leader and obtained the GCP Auditor Certificate from NBScience (London, UK). Since December 2018, I have served as Director of Clinical Trials at Pharmassist, leading the department and overseeing the company’s full portfolio of clinical research projects.

I hold a degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Microbial Biotechnology from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), as well as a PhD in Enzymatic Biotechnology from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
