About me
Dr. Gérard Chollet studied Linguistics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara where he was granted a PhD in 1978 and taught in the US. In 1983, he joined a newly created CNRS research unit within Institut Mines-Telecom. In 1992, he was asked to participate to the development of IDIAP in Martigny, Switzerland. He supervised more than forty doctoral theses. In 2012, CNRS decided to grant him an emeritus status. He is now consultant for Zaion. His main research interests are in speech processing.
