Sotiris Themistokleous

Dr Sotiris Themistokleous is the Director of Strategic Development of the Center for Social Innovation (CSI). Sotiris is coordinating the grants and tenders’ preparations, applications, and fundraising services of the organization, and his team is coordinating the overall networking and outreach activities of CSI. The CSI is awarded projects from a wide range of Global, European, and International funding agencies such as Horizon Europe, ERASMUS+, EuropeAid, Lifelong Learning Programs, EU Home Affairs, Research Promotion Foundation, United Nations Development Program, and other public and private agencies, of a total value of more than 60 million euros. He has been involved in more than 200 programs and initiatives on social innovation, education, social justice and empowerment, vocational training, lifelong learning, and civic participation as Team Leader and Researcher. He has published articles and book chapters and presented a series of papers at international conferences on Social Innovation, Education, Sustainable Development, Democratization, Diversity Management, Migration, and Civil Society. Sotiris holds a BA in International Relations and Diplomacy from the American College of Thessaloniki, an MSc in Global Politics from Birkbeck College, University of London, and a PhD in Education from the University of Nicosia.
